This Turmeric Coconut Cashew Rice has a Secret Ingredient

You can turn plain rice into coconut rice instantly by adding a spoonful of our stone ground coconut butter to the water before cooking. 

We used this technique to make a delicious batch of turmeric cashew coconut rice with cilantro on top. We hope you give it a try! 

Here's how:

In a rice cooker (or pan on the stove) combine 1 cup jasmine rice with 1.5 cups hot water. You’ll want to boil the water first so your coconut butter will melt nicely into it. This also speeds up the cook time if using a rice cooker.


Add 1/2 cup cashews, 1 Tablespoon coconut butter, 1/2 tsp turmeric powder, and a dash of salt (or just salt to taste before serving) Cook until done. If cooking on a stovetop this will be about 10-12 minutes

Serve with cilantro to garnish. Enjoy!
